Dr. Mohamed Abdelgelil is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Hamad Medical Corporation. Dr. Mohamed Salem Abdelgelil graduated from Tanta University, Egypt in 2001. He joined Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in 2006. He finished his Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Queen’s Belfast in 2014. He is working as a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist with the General Surgery team, Surgical Intensive Care unit and Anticoagulation Clinic. Also, he is a CPPD Officer and Preceptor in ASHP’s residency program. 

Dr. Abdelgelil serves as a Preceptor for the training of the undergraduate student and post-graduate Phar.D. students of Qatar University, College of Pharmacy. Dr. Abdelgelil served as Pyxis Manager and integration of Cerner. He also provides lectures in international and internal conferences. Also, he organized a lot of educational workshops, symposiums and training courses. Dr. Abdelgelil served as a member of the hospital society of Crohn’s disease and General Surgery Quality team. He was awarded a Stars of Excellence award in 2016 for his VTE project and Stars of Excellence in Education CPPD and Safety Collaboration in 2019. He is also a member of ACS JCI- CCPC. Dr. Abdelgelil has published and participated in many qualitative and quantitative researches. His research interest is currently focused on anticoagulation, endocrine, and pharmacoeconomic.
